JUSTIN FRIELLO is an upstate NY singer songwriter whose music is a blend of pop, folk, R&B, and classical genres. What remains consistent is his insightful and emotionally provocative lyrics, intaimate vocals, and skillful approach to guitar and songwriting.
ANGELINA VALENTE - "Crisp, nostalgic, bedroom folk.” Angelina grew up in Galway, NY where she developed a love for performing at a very young age. She attended Rider University where she graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. It was there that she developed a love for writing music. Angelina's singer/songwriter style strips her music down to the bare bones with just vocals and keys, emanating a folk/pop sound. Her soft piano and strong voice, complete with her honest lyrics, create an exceptional, emotional experience suitable for all listeners.
AGE OF THE BEAR (singer-songwriter Anthony Cubbage) began his music career when he withdrew from college in January 2016, and immediately started recording demos, then traveling the country for 2 years, busking in major cities, and exploring United States' national parks, writing and recording among the trees and waters of places like Yosemite, Olympic, Badlands, and Yellowstone National Parks, eventually turning 4 years of writing into his most recent album "Rivers".

Great Flats Songwriter Series is a night of laid back, stripped down music by incredibly talented local artists making up the likes of bands you hear on stages, in coffeehouses, at festivals, and of course, near the taps at Great Flats.
On the first Thursday of every other month, come join upstate native/NYC transplant Alice Sorensen and her specially selected local artists—old and new—take the stage to share their art.
